Sleep - The Key to Recovery and Health

Play in Training

The is a common myth that training has to be hard to be beneficial.

That couldn't be farther from the truth! Rather, if training is hard all of the time, you have a tendency to burn out, lose interest, or get injured.

Instead, think of every training session as an opportunity to move and play. Training shouldn't be all sweating and swearing. Instead, it should be laughing and smiles. The concept of "play" is something that has been lost, especially as we get older, but it is a key ingredient in a successful, and long term, training program.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't be working hard! On the contrary - you should be working hard every time. But, make the hard work fun and playful!

You'll be surprised how much more you can do with a smile on your face instead of a frown!
